Type Locality

Little Cedar Creek (Coosa River basin) near school for deaf on outskirts of Cave Spring, Floyd County, Georgia.

Range

Coosa River basin in northwestern Georgia, southeastern Tennessee, and northeastern Alabama.

Habitat

Rocky areas of streams.
