Holotype and allotype, National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution, Washington D.C. 92295, 92296 (male II, female); paratypes, National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution, Washington D.C.

Type Locality

Stream in Lewis Cave, 15 miles (24 km) northwest of Doniphan, Ripley County, Missouri.

Range

Current, Eleven Point, and Meramec river basins in Carter, Oregon, Phelps, Pulaski, Ripley, Shannon, and Texas counties, Missouri.

Habitat

Subterranean waters and springs.
